On an unexpected windy day , I decided to spend a quite morning in Phoenix Park.
After a few minutes getting wet in the brief shower and trying to find some bearing inside the park, I was awestruck with the sheer grandeur and magnificence of this park.
As far as I could see, the turf was spread across, large deciduous trees ,standing tall , taking in the blowing wind in their stride.
The grazing land formed a pattern and was clearly following a trail through this clump of trees.
Suddenly a deer leapt out from behind the tree and onto the grazing track, it was followed by another deer and they just disappeared before I could take a picture.
A few cyclists , head bent , keen on taking the wind on were pedalling hard trying to reach their mark.
The Park is big, around 1750 acres, walled, enclosed and makes you feel and belong to this magnificent green patch of world.
