Lake Merced Walking Trail

At 5 pm I was alone at Lake Merced, my back to the lake and was looking through the dense trees surrounding the periphery.

Not sure, but heard some rustle behind, a quick look behind and could see nothing.

The water was still, cold wind blowing through my wind cheater but still wanted to stand there feeling the tranquility and peace around.

The Sun would set anytime and I was not sure wanted to be there in the dark. Walking along the grassy track and out on the main thoroughfare and started walking. I could see many who were trekking the 4.5 mile  track not bothered by the cars whizzing past.

It took me under 30 minutes to cover the full loop of the lake and then decided to head back to the city.
